McCallum Plumbing and Fire Consultants Australia is seeking a Plumbing and Fire Engineering Draftsperson to join our in‑house drafting team in Charlestown, NSW. You will produce hydraulic plans for residential, commercial and industrial buildings and convert architectural drawings into clear, client-ready drawings.

The role offers mentoring from senior engineers, a clear career path from draftsperson toward hydraulic design, and opportunities to work with fire services and water systems.

Qualifications

• AutoCAD proficiency required; Revit experience preferred.
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Interest in hydraulic services and construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Draft detailed hydraulic engineering plans for residential, commercial and industrial buildings.
• Create plan backgrounds from architectural drawings.
• Turn sketches from senior design engineers into clear drawings for clients and contractors.
• Draft water supply, sanitary drainage, stormwater, fire services and other hydraulic systems.
• Review completed drawings for quality and accuracy.
