Job summary

SCP Consulting in Sydney, Australia, is seeking a Senior Structural Draftsperson to lead the delivery of detailed drawings and BIM models, guiding projects from inception to completion.

You will translate engineer input into polished drawings, ensure LOD 300 standards, and mentor junior drafters while coordinating with engineers and clients on high-rise, commercial and industrial schemes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–8 years of local structural drafting experience.
• Proficient in Revit and BIM workflows.
• Experience on commercial, high-rise or industrial projects.
• Qualifications in structural drafting or civil construction design (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Translate information from engineers, clients and other experts into polished detailed drawings.
• Produce models to the required LOD (LOD 300 minimum).
• Assure the quality of drawings as Lead Draftsperson on a project.
• Collaborate with other drafters and participate in coordination meetings.
• Manage drawing revisions, technical reviews and quality assurance processes.
• Contribute to drafting standards and workflow improvements.
• Provide leadership through mentoring and supporting drafters.
