Ocorian in Australia is seeking a Trust Administrator to manage a portfolio of trusts and perform comprehensive review, monitoring and financial statement analysis. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance with trust regulatory requirements, and proactive client liaison.

The successful candidate will contribute to personal and company development in a busy, high-volume environment. Extensive trust administration experience (5+ years) and a formal trustee qualification are required.

Qualifications

• Formal trustee qualification (TEP or ICSA) or related university/tertiary qualification.
• Minimum 5 years’ trust administration experience.
• Broad knowledge of trust and estate administration, including corporate trusts, with accounting/investment knowledge.
• Assists with training and developing staff.
• Strong teambuilding and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Administers a portfolio of trusts with billable time.
• Conducts Trust Reviews and investment reviews, plus ongoing-transaction monitoring.
• Reviews trust financial statements and bank statements; arranges deposits as needed.
• Ensures billing and collection of receivables and accuracy of trust records.
• Liaises with intermediaries (administrators, bankers, protectors, investment managers/advisors, settlors and beneficiaries).
• Attends to client needs and meetings; maintains timely correspondence.
