Job summary

Perpetual Corporate Trust is seeking an Associate, Agency & Trustee to support management of a portfolio of clients and trustee obligations. You'll work with clients, lawyers, and internal teams to review transaction structures and documentation and help ensure timely payments and compliance.

Ideal candidates have a degree in business/accounting/finance/law and at least 3 years' experience in debt markets or financial services, with strong Excel skills and understanding of Australian banking and

Business / accounting / economics / finance / law degree.
Minimum 3+ years work experience with exposure to debt markets or financial services, ideally in accounting or financial institution.
Understanding of the Australian Banking and payment system and debt capital markets.

Responsibilities

Manage day to day relationships with clients and external service providers, responding promptly to reasonable requests.
Support Facility Agent and Security Trustee transactions, including reviewing structures and negotiating documentation.
Identify legal and operational risks and escalation of onerous or non standard terms for appropriate review.
Work with Operations to facilitate payments and monitor bank accounts where required.
Monitor client obligations to help ensure trustee duties are completed accurately and on time.
Liaise with external lawyers and clients in performing Agent and Trustee duties and obligations.
