NSW Reconstruction Authority is seeking a Planning and Strategy Project Officer in Parramatta. The role focuses on mitigating disaster risks by supporting the next State Disaster Mitigation Plan, translating complex information into actionable policy, and managing projects that deliver real-world impact.

You will lead cross-government collaboration, develop robust guidelines, and oversee lifecycles from resources to deadlines, ensuring milestones are met within budget and scope.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in undertaking research and analysis to support policy development, strategy and guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design of initiatives aligning with government commitments and disaster-risk objectives.
• Develop guidelines, policies and evidence-based strategies from emerging trends and information.
• Oversee project lifecycles, including resources, documentation, budget and scope.
• Act as central contact, coordinating working groups and committees for policy development.
• Prepare briefs, status reports and discussion papers for executive decision-making.
