Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a Commercial Program Manager to shape the commercial success of transformation programs. You will combine strategic thinking with strong commercial and financial acumen, providing governance, insights and oversight of vendors and budgets across the Post30 Transformation Office.

Qualifications

• Strong financial and commercial acumen with strategic problem solving.
• Experience developing and interrogating complex financial models.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Align programs with strategic objectives and provide commercial insights to support decisions.
• Partner with Program Managers to ensure governance, delivery and benefits realisation.
• Develop and maintain program financial governance frameworks, controls and reporting.
• Provide strategic commercial and financial advice to senior stakeholders.
• Oversee commercial aspects of vendor relationships and ensure value for money.
• Manage commercial aspects of Statements of Work and benchmark providers.
• Identify financial/commercial risks and maintain risk registers with mitigations.
• Ensure financial risks and dependencies are actively managed across programs.
• Provide financial oversight and robust governance for Australia Post programs.
• Manage monthly financials, including actuals tracking and cost forecasting.
• Provide insights to inform enterprise financial reporting cycles.
• Set operating rhythm for key financial processes and governance reporting.
• Oversee financial benefits throughout the program lifecycle.
