Job summary

Micromine is seeking a Database Implementation Specialist within the Geobank team to help APAC customers implement, configure and optimise their database solutions. You will deliver data migration projects, configure workflows, and provide guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle.

The role combines SQL, database management and direct customer engagement, offering a hybrid working model in Australia.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Strong SQL query writing and troubleshooting
• Understanding of relational databases and data structures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Comfortable working directly with customers and building strong professional relationships
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver database implementation and migration projects for APAC customers.
• Configure database objects and workflows to support customer-specific processes.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, scripts and migration processes.
• Investigate and resolve data quality and database-related issues.
• Support SQL Server administration activities, including backups, restores and permissions management.
• Produce technical documentation and provide user support where required.
