Job summary

Weir Software Solutions is seeking a Database Implementation Specialist within the Geobank team to help APAC customers implement, configure and optimise database solutions. You’ll deliver data migration projects, configure workflows and provide guidance through the implementation lifecycle.

The role offers a unique blend of SQL, database management and customer engagement, in a hybrid work environment across APAC.

Qualifications

• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong SQL query writing and troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of relational databases and data structures.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Comfortable working directly with customers and building strong professional relationships.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver database implementation and migration projects for customers across APAC.
• Work with customers to understand requirements and configure solutions to meet their operational needs.

As a Database Implementation Specialist within the Geobank team, you'll help mining companies across APAC implement, configure and optimise their database solutions. Working closely with customers, you'll deliver data migration projects, configure workflows, resolve technical issues and provide guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle.
