Tenjune Property Group in Brisbane is seeking a Senior Development Manager to lead the full lifecycle of residential land subdivision, from acquisition through planning approvals, civil construction and delivery. The role demands commercial acumen, strong leadership and extensive knowledge of Queensland planning processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ property development experience in land development, incl. subdivisions or masterplanned communities.
• Minimum 5 years engineering experience is viewed favourably.
• Strong knowledge of Queensland planning legislation, approvals processes and local government requirements.
• Experience overseeing civil construction and infrastructure delivery.
• Strong financial feasibility, budgeting, forecasting and commercial skills.
• Proven stakeholder management, negotiation and leadership capability.
• Relevant qualifications in property development, urban planning, engineering, construction management or project management.

Responsibilities

• Manage land development projects across the full lifecycle.
• Identify sites, conduct due diligence and secure planning approvals with authorities.
• Oversee consultant coordination and civil construction.
• Manage budgets, feasibility studies, cash flow forecasts and delivery programs.
• Identify risks, constraints and cost variations and mitigate them.
• Oversee tendering, subdivision delivery, plan sealing and title registration.
• Report on milestones, financial results and delivery risks.
• Build relationships with government authorities, consultants and stakeholders; guide project teams.
