Job summary

Zurich Insurance Group in Australia is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join a collaborative squad and work with pricing, product, sales, underwriting, finance and actuarial teams to deliver competitive, sustainable pricing.

Reporting to the Senior Pricing Actuary, you will analyze portfolio performance, develop cash flow models, calculate premiums, and monitor trends to create long-term value for customers and the business.

Qualifications

• Progress towards Actuarial Fellowship is required.
• Good understanding of insurance products and contracts.
• Strong analytical, mathematical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to forecast trends and analyze performance indicators.
• Clear written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of actuarial modelling software such as Prophet.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform actuarial analyses to support management reporting and business decisions.
• Analyze portfolio experience, profitability, capital availability and solvency projections.
• Support cash flow model development and maintain model output quality.
• Calculate premiums for new and existing products using pricing methodologies.
• Test and review system changes and other deliverables supporting squad outcomes.
• Monitor business volumes, mix, experience trends and expenses, comparing to expectations.
