City of Moreton Bay is seeking a motivated Technical Officer - Planning to support the Development Services team in Caboolture. Qualifications

• Currently studying planning, administration, or related field.
• Experience in administration, customer service, or project support will be highly regarded.
• Understanding of Development Applications, the Planning Act, DA Rules, and key legislation.
• Awareness of SEQ Regional Plan and relevant planning schemes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration and assessment of development applications.
• Review applications to ensure required information is provided.
• Calculate and process development application fees.
• Coordinate referrals and apply assessment requirements.
• Support infrastructure charging and cost recovery processes.
• Prepare correspondence, reports and technical documentation.
