Job summary

Chemist Warehouse Group in Australia is seeking a payroll professional to support accurate and timely processing, maintain employee records, and conduct payroll audits. You will respond to payroll inquiries and process payments with high accuracy in a fast-paced, large-organisation environment.

You will review leave balances, ensure compliance with awards and regulations, and collaborate with stores, distribution centres and support offices.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll processing within a large organisation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Proficient in Excel and payroll systems such as PayGlobal or UKG Pro T&A.

Responsibilities

• Support accurate and timely payroll processing and maintain employee records.
• Complete payroll audits and respond to payroll-related enquiries.
• Process payments and manage regular payroll transactions with accuracy.
• Conduct audits of leave and ensure compliance with legislation and agreements.
