Placements24 seeks an Online Assessment Specialist to design, validate, and manage online assessment tools ensuring fair, reliable measurements of learning outcomes. The role partners with curriculum developers to align assessments with objectives, emphasizing accessibility and technical soundness.

The ideal candidate has a master's in measurement/psychometrics and at least 4 years of online assessment experience, with strong skills in SPSS or R and item response theory.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Educational Measurement, Psychometrics, or statistics required.
• At least 4 years of assessment development and psychometric analysis experience.
• Strong knowledge of classical test theory and item response theory (IRT).
• Proficiency with statistical software (SPSS or R) and assessment platforms.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement valid and reliable online assessments for various educational programs.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to align assessments with learning objectives and curriculum standards.
• Analyze assessment data to identify trends, evaluate test effectiveness, and provide feedback for improvement.
• Ensure online assessments meet technical specifications and accessibility requirements.
