Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Educational Psychology or related field.
• Registered with the relevant professional body (e.g., HPCSA).
• Proven experience in psycho-educational assessments and interventions.
• Strong understanding of child development, learning theories, and mental health principles.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to identify learning disabilities, developmental delays, and emotional challenges.
• Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies and support plans for individual students and groups.
• Provide counseling and therapeutic support to students experiencing emotional or behavioral difficulties.
• Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to provide guidance on student support and classroom strategies.
• Liaise with external agencies and professionals to facilitate comprehensive care for students.
• Maintain confidential and accurate records of assessments, interventions, and progress.
