Job summary

Australian Electoral Commission in Canberra is seeking four .Net Developers to deliver and support a range of ICT projects and programs. The developers will uplift existing code and deliver enhancements within a hybrid work setup at the National Office in Canberra.

Ideal candidates have strong C#/.NET experience, Agile methodology expertise, and familiarity with Azure DevOps, SDLC, and automated build/deployment scripting. Active NV1 security clearance is required prior to commencement.

Qualifications

Experience with Agile software development methodologies and documentation.
Backend development using Web API and SQL technologies.
SDLC experience with automated build/deployment scripting in .NET.
Cloud-based applications development experience.
Ability to produce well designed, documented, and testable code.
Proven ability to communicate with stakeholders across a dispersed network.

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance C#-based, multi-tier enterprise software per AEC standards.
Develop automated build and deployment scripts for .NET and Microsoft stack.
Follow Agile SDLC using Azure DevOps.
Liaise with staff to facilitate issue resolution in production environments.
Provide analysis and contribute to policy formulation and project management coordination.
Manage internal/external relationships to achieve agency goals and represent the agency.
Provide specialist advice, guidance, and reporting on team responsibilities.
Make decisions using best-practice, legislation, and procedures; support election readiness.
