Job summary

Good Shepherd Lutheran College on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a dynamic Systems Administrator to join our ICT team in a full-time role. You will oversee operational server, cloud and identity platforms, ensuring they are secure, current, available and correctly configured to meet the College’s educational and administrative needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in enterprise server administration, including Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Entra ID in hybrid environments.
• Strong patch management and software deployment discipline.
• Excellent communication and ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Commitment to uphold Christian values and vision of the College.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational systems administration across server, cloud and identity platforms, ensuring security, currency, availability, and correct configuration.
• Provide advanced technical support across server, network, identity and security environments, resolving complex issues escalated from the helpdesk.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all technical activities, ensuring compliance and facilitating continuous improvement.
