Ivega Global in Sydney is seeking a hands‑on Hybrid Financial Services Business Analyst for an 18‑month max‑term contract. You’ll support project and product delivery within the ANZ Programme, aligning stakeholders, vendors and partners to define requirements and drive agile delivery.

You’ll conduct interviews, analyse workflows, create epics and user stories with acceptance criteria, produce mock‑ups, and coordinate UAT across offices. Strong BA experience in financial services is essential.

• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
• BA tools and techniques such as Jira, Confluence, process modelling, wireframing, data analysis.

Hybrid Financial Services Business Analyst (18 Month Contract) – Sydney

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst for an 18 Month Max Term Contract. As a Business Analyst, you’ll support project and product delivery within the ANZ Programme working closely with stakeholders across the business, external vendors, and partners. You’ll play a key role in scoping requirements, documenting solutions, and collaborating with agile development teams to deliver impactful changes.

This hands on role involves both technical and operational analysis across a range of initiatives, from launching new products to enhancing business processes to improve operational efficiency. You will be a motivated self starter capable of working independently to identify opportunities, solve problems, and deliver insights with minimal direction.

What you’ll be working on

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements

What will help you be successful

• 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst ideally within financial services
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies
• BA tools and techniques e.g. Jira, Confluence, process modelling, wireframing, data analysis, Visio/Miro
• Technical knowledge e.g. API documentation, SQL, data management, web and mobile apps
• Experience delivering operational efficiency projects for customer service functions
• Experience implementing new Wealth Management product offerings
• Strong facilitation and relationship management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in financial services, banking, wealth management, payments, fintech or another regulated environment is highly desirable.
