Job summary

RSGx is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team on infrastructure projects across utilities, industrial, mining, and transport sectors in Australia. You will review drawings, prepare cost estimates, and develop competitive bids using digital estimating tools.

Based in Australia with hybrid work options (Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane), you will collaborate with project managers and engineers to assess scope, risks and contingencies, ensuring timely, accurate tender

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating electrical works across utilities, industrial, mining or transport sectors.
• Holds trade, diploma or bachelor-level qualifications relevant to estimating.
• Uses digital estimating tools to compile accurate cost projections.

Responsibilities

• Review enquiries with drawings, terms and specs to build estimates.
• Analyse labour, materials, equipment and resources for cost projections.
• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and specs.
• Develop competitive bids meeting client requirements.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for accuracy.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to refine estimates and contingencies.
• Maintain detailed estimating records and supporting docs.
