Flying Bark Productions is seeking an Editorial Assistant to provide technical support to editors and manage media workflows. You will import/export in Avid Media Composer, assist with animatics and dialogue, and ensure smooth handoffs between editorial and other departments.

You will help assemble sequences, track changes, maintain sound effects libraries, and support delivery schedules. A collaborative, detail‑driven mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of Avid Media Composer.
• Experience with editorial processes and workflows.
• Ability to communicate clearly and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Provide editorial assistance and technical support to the Editor.
• Manage import/export of various file formats in Avid Media Composer.
• Work with Editors on animatics including dialogue takes, SFX and music cues.
• Assist with assembling sequences in preparation for editors to review.
• Deliver and update scenes to and from editorial.
• Track dialogue changes from scratch to final dialogue.
• Record scratch track as required by Production/Director/Editor.
• Maintain library of sound effects and music cues relevant to the style.
• Participate in meetings about story and edit pipeline for smooth production.
• Coordinate with storyboard/production to manage file flow to editorial.
• Liaise with Editor and production to manage daily priorities and workflow.
• Quality control of all cuts leaving editorial.
• Adhere to delivery schedule for final materials.
