Job summary

ESR Group in Melbourne is seeking a Development Analyst to support the national Development business. You will work with Development, Funds Management and Finance teams to deliver financial analysis, feasibility modelling and reporting across a diverse development pipeline.

This hybrid role offers exposure to the full development lifecycle and opportunities to apply advanced Excel skills, build financial models and contribute to strategic decision-making within a leading Asia-Pacific real assets

Qualifications

Degree qualified in Property, Finance, Commerce, Economics or related discipline.
2+ years' relevant experience in finance or real estate analysis.
Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
Ability to interpret and present complex financial data.
Curious and proactive mindset with interest in AI-enabled processes.

Responsibilities

Prepare, maintain and review development feasibilities, cash flow models and scenario analysis to support investment and development decisions.
Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, including investor reports, budgets and reforecasts.
Partner with Development, Funds Management and Finance teams to evaluate development opportunities, leasing outcomes and project performance.
Manage and enhance development databases, financial models and reporting tools to improve data quality and decision-making.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and leverage technology, automation and AI tools to improve efficiency.
