Job summary

BGIS is seeking a Data Analyst to support asset data accuracy and reporting for a NSW government portfolio. You will review, validate, and maintain asset data, ensuring it remains current and aligned with lifecycle and maintenance requirements.

You will work with the Technical Asset Team and Facilities Managers to develop reports and dashboards, interpret data, and present findings clearly. Hybrid role with three days in the office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in data, reporting or analyst roles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with large data sets.
• Experience with Power BI and reporting tools.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage priorities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Higher School Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Review and refresh asset data to maintain accuracy and lifecycle alignment.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding ensuring data integrity.
• Audit data templates for consistency before uploading to central database.
• Prepare reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with Asset Team, Facilities Managers and subcontractors.
• Support Planned and Preventative Maintenance schedules and compliance.
• Coordinate asset validations and vendor data amendments.
• Assist with site setups, asset hierarchies and naming conventions.
• Conduct documentation audits and maintain asset condition records.
• Identify data anomalies and drive process improvements.
• Provide guidance to colleagues on data structures and processes.
