Customs Agency Services (CAS) is Adelaide’s leading International Logistics Provider and Customs Brokerages. We are seeking a Customs Compiler / Classifier to review import documentation, classify goods, and prepare entries for broker review, coordinating with customers and agencies to ensure timely clearance.

You will work within a collaborative, high-performance team in a hybrid setup (4 days in office, 1 day from home) with mentoring and development opportunities.

Competenze

• Experience in customs compilation, customs classification, freight forwarding or import operations is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of HS Codes, customs valuation principles and customs legislation.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Mansioni

• Review and validate commercial invoices, packing lists, transport documentation and clearance records.
• Compile and prepare customs entries for authorised broker review and lodgement.
• Research and recommend tariff classifications, customs valuations and applicable duty rates.
• Coordinate biosecurity and DAFF clearance requirements.
• Liaise with customers, freight forwarders, transport providers and government agencies to resolve documentation or cargo issues.
• Maintain accurate records in CargoWise One and other approved systems.
• Ensure shipments are cleared within agreed timeframes and service expectations.
• Monitor regulatory, tariff and biosecurity updates to maintain compliance.
