Job summary

Marriott International in Sydney seeks a Hybrid Credit Risk Analytics Manager to drive revenue optimization and analytical reporting from a central location. The role focuses on inventory management, rate strategies, forecasting, and reporting to support market sales initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring a warm demeanor, solid communication skills, and at least 1 year of related experience in hospitality analytics or revenue management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of rooms inventory to maximize cluster rooms revenue, and maintain accuracy of information.
• Assist in preparing competitive analyses and other documents for market sales strategy meetings.
• Assist in managing room authorizations, rates, and restrictions, including communicating rate restrictions and strategy to properties.
• Perform all Revenue Management month-end reporting and auditing and provide forward-looking information for forecasting and balancing financial expectations.
• Accurately generate, process and update property and market Revenue Management reports; serve as primary source for reporting and analytics needs.
• Assist with system maintenance including rate hurdles, forecast monitoring, updating group forecasting and daily checks.
• Assist with training of new associates on revenue management tools.
• Assist in implementing hotel sales strategies in reservation and inventory systems.
• Follow company policies; maintain professionalism; protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests; anticipate service needs; show appreciation.
• Speak with clarity and professional language; answer phones with proper etiquette.
• Develop positive working relationships; listen to concerns of other employees.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and read/verify information; lift up to 15 pounds; stand/walk for extended periods.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested.

• Assist in the management of rooms inventory to maximize cluster rooms revenue, as well as maintain accuracy of information and enhance automation efforts in reservation system.
• Assist in the preparation of competitive analysis and other supporting documents for presentation at market sales strategy meetings.
• Assist in managing room authorizations, rates, and restrictions, including communicating rate restrictions and strategy to properties.
• Perform all Revenue Management month end reporting and auditing and provide forward looking information for the purposes of forecasting, targeting need areas and balancing financial expectations.
• Accurately generate, process and update all property and market Revenue Management reports and serve as primary source for majority of reporting and analytical needs of the Revenue Management team.
• Assist with system maintenance including but not limited to, inputting rate hurdles, monitoring forecasted demand, updating group forecasting and running daily system checks.
• Assist with training of new associates as necessary on revenue management tools.
• Assist in the implementation of hotel sales strategies in the reservation and inventory systems.
• Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
