Job summary

NSW Department of Communities and Justice – Parramatta NSW is seeking a Community Engagement Advisor to plan, design and deliver communications and engagement strategies for social and affordable housing renewal projects. You will work with multidisciplinary teams and a broad range of stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes that centre people in planning and delivery.

You will design and evaluate engagement activities, prepare high-quality communications materials, and monitor the stakeholder

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and delivering engagement strategies.
• Ability to consult residents and stakeholders at appropriate stages of project planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and support to the Community Engagement Manager or delegated lead.
• Design, implement and evaluate strategic communication and engagement strategies and activities.
• Undertake research to understand project context and local area analysis.
• Prepare a range of engaging communications materials for broad audiences.
• Monitor and map the stakeholder environment and identify risks and issues.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
