Job summary

DD Project Consulting is seeking an Engagement and Communication Consultant to join its Sunshine Coast–hybrid team on major Queensland infrastructure programs. You will build trusted relationships, develop engagement initiatives, and deliver high-quality communications for communities and stakeholders.

The role requires 3+ years in a relevant field, tertiary qualifications in a related discipline, and a driver’s licence, with a focus on clear, accurate, community-focused materials.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in a relevant field.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills (e.g. comms, business, management, planning).
• Engagement Institute Certificate highly regarded (formerly IAP2).
• Current driver’s licence.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Willingness to undergo a police check.

Responsibilities

• Engage with key stakeholders and community members to educate, inform and capture feedback.
• Collaborate with peers, managers and clients to deliver engagement initiatives.
• Report on community interactions.
• Draft high-quality communications with meaningful impact.
