Job summary

eHealth NSW is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to support the Cloud & Enterprise Infrastructure Services team across NSW Health. You will design, plan and manage cloud deployments, ensuring security, performance and reliable operations.

The role offers hybrid work flexibility (Chatswood) with an attractive salary up to $156,231 AUD plus 12% super and 17.5% annual leave loading. Applications close 27 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with public and private cloud services and ICT infrastructure.
• Hands-on IaC experience and version control practices.
• Proven AWS/Azure experience across compute, networking, storage, and identity.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Know-how of DevSecOps, Agile delivery, and operating in large organisations.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan and manage deployment of cloud services across NSW Health systems.
• Ensure ongoing performance, security, and operational management of cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with ICT colleagues across Local Health Districts and eHealth NSW.
• Produce detailed technical documentation and support knowledge management.
• Drive continuous learning and adoption of cloud platforms within the team.
