The University of Sydney is seeking a Clinical Data Systems Coordinator to support the design, development, testing and maintenance of clinical data systems for multiple trials. Based at Chris O’Brien LifeHouse with a hybrid work arrangement, the role requires REDCap expertise and a strong focus on data quality and regulatory compliance.

Responsabilités

• Designing, developing and testing clinical data systems for clinical trials, including data entry forms and validation rules.
• Collaborating with project managers, clinical data managers, clinicians, biostatisticians and other stakeholders to deliver study requirements.
• Supporting the implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of clinical data systems in production environments.
• Developing and maintaining documentation, procedures and testing plans.
• Providing user support and training to clinical research staff.
• Ensuring systems and processes comply with relevant regulations, guidelines and operating procedures.

• Based at Chris O’Brien LifeHouse with a hybrid working arrangement.
• HEO 7, $80.18 per hour plus 17% superannuation.

About the opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Clinical Data Systems Coordinator to join a collaborative team supporting the delivery of clinical trials. Working within a specialist clinical trials environment, you will play a key role in the design, development, testing and maintenance of clinical data systems that support high-quality clinical research.

You will work closely with researchers, clinicians and project teams to support study development activities and the successful delivery of clinical data systems across a range of projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

• designing, developing and testing clinical data systems for clinical trials, including data entry forms and validation rules
• collaborating with project managers, clinical data managers, clinicians, biostatisticians and other stakeholders to deliver study requirements
• supporting the implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of clinical data systems in production environments
• developing and maintaining documentation, procedures and testing plans
• providing user support and training to clinical research staff
• ensuring systems and processes comply with relevant regulations, guidelines and operating procedures

About you

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• demonstrated, extensive experience working with REDCap, experience with other clinical data systems is welcome but not a requirement
• experience supporting the study development process within a clinical research or clinical trials environment
• strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across multidisciplinary teams
• exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data quality
• highly developed organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• experience providing user support, training and troubleshooting for data systems
• proven ability to quickly fit into a new work environment and deliver tangible outputs
