Job summary

ProVision Eye Care Pty Ltd in Mulgrave, VIC is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to own the reliability, accuracy and continued development of ProIntel, balancing daily platform operations with reporting improvements and new analytics projects.

You’ll work hands-on in a collaborative team, leveraging Power BI and SQL to translate business needs into actionable insights, build robust data models and support national practice owners and internal teams with clear, defendable reporting.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in BI or data analytics in a medium to large organisation.
• Strong Power BI and SQL capabilities.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical reporting solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with data governance and data quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Administering Power BI and Microsoft Fabric environments, including workspaces, access, refreshes and row‑level security
• Developing reports, dashboards, DAX measures and semantic models
• Maintaining SQL‑based data models, ETL processes, API connections and scheduled data loads
• Managing monthly benchmarking, reconciling practice data and resolving data‑quality issues
• Translating business requirements into practical reporting and analytics solutions
• Coordinating external development work and supporting testing and implementation
• Maintaining data governance, technical documentation and well‑structured datasets for future analytics and AI initiatives
