Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a senior asset accounting professional to lead enterprise asset accounting, valuation and reporting. You will ensure revaluations, capitalisation and reporting align with NSW Treasury standards.

Based in Macquarie Park with hybrid work options, you will guide policy development, strengthen data governance and support statutory reporting across the organisation. The role requires leading complex revaluations and strong SAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Mid to senior asset accounting experience, including leading revaluations.
• Knowledge of AASB standards and NSW Treasury policies; ability to translate technical detail to financial outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and full membership of a recognised professional accounting body (CPA or CAANZ). Extensive asset accounting experience including revaluations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee enterprise wide asset accounting, valuation and reporting programs.
• Lead major asset revaluation programs and partner with valuers, auditors and project teams.
• Guide policy implementation, strengthen asset data quality and governance.
• Support statutory reporting by overseeing asset related components across the business.
• Drive improvements in systems, processes and capability for asset accounting.
