Job summary

Harrison McMillan Pty Ltd is seeking an APS5 Associate Systems Analyst to support analysis, design, testing and implementation of ICT solutions in a Federal Government environment.

This is a long-term contract (up to 12 months with extensions to 24 months) based in Canberra, Melbourne or Brisbane, with hybrid work after an initial onsite period. Baseline security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.
• SFIA Level 3 capabilities: Requirements Definition & Management.
• SFIA Level 3 capabilities: Software Design.
• Experience in government or large-scale organisations.
• Exposure to SAP CRM and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and evaluate business processes and requirements.
• Support the design and implementation of ICT solutions.
• Develop and maintain solution documentation and specifications.
• Conduct testing activities, including test planning and execution.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and support project delivery.
• Support system changes, enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare reports and technical documentation for senior review.
