Job summary

The Department of Justice and Community Safety Victoria is seeking a Senior Aboriginal Talent Partner to provide specialist recruitment support within the Recruitment Services Team. The role is fixed term for 12 months, VPS grade 5, based in Melbourne with a Hybrid model and travel across regional Victoria.

You will lead end-to-end recruitment, engage Aboriginal communities, influence talent strategies, and advise stakeholders on policies and legislation affecting the Victorian Aboriginal

Qualifications

Knowledge of the Victorian Aboriginal Community and related issues.
Ability to communicate sensitively with the Victorian Aboriginal Community.
Experience managing end-to-end recruitment with diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated recruitment partnering with diverse stakeholders and handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

Provide specialist advice to stakeholders on Aboriginal cultural issues and relevant policies.
Manage end-to-end recruitment for senior/complex vacancies, including descriptions, sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
Offer strategic guidance on recruitment practices in line with relevant industrial instruments and legislation.
