Job summary

MEGT is offering an opportunity for a motivated 2nd to 4th Year Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Apprentice in Sydney. You’ll work on advanced commercial cooling systems alongside experienced technicians, gaining hands-on experience and building the skills to become a capable tradesperson.

You’ll install, service and maintain commercial HVACR systems, perform fault-finding and diagnostics. You’ll also work with customers to develop communication and technical skills.

Qualifications

• Current 2nd/3rd/4th Year Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Apprentice
• Mechanically minded with a genuine passion for the trade
• Curious, motivated and eager to expand your technical knowledge
• Proactive problem solver who enjoys a challenge
• Reliable, professional and team oriented
• Current and valid driver’s licence
• White Card

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems
• Advanced fault‑finding, diagnostics and technical problem solving
• Install cabling, wiring and power systems
• Work on switchboards, grid systems and critical infrastructure
• Engage with customers to develop communication and technical skills
