Job summary

Form1 Air is seeking an experienced HVAC Service and Installation Technician to join the Northern team. The role covers service, maintenance and installation across Newcastle, Central Coast and Hunter regions, with potential project travel and overtime opportunities.

Ideal candidates hold a Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, ARC refrigerant handling, a NSW Driver’s Licence and at least 12 months post-trade HVAC experience.

Qualifications

• Hold a Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
• Hold a Refrigerant Handling Licence (ARC).
• Hold a current NSW Drivers Licence.
• Have at least 12 months of post-trade HVAC experience.
• Have HVAC service, fault-finding and repair experience.
• Hold a Contractor Licence or Qualified Supervisor Certificate, or be willing to obtain one.
• Be able to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Communicate professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Have full Australian working rights.
• Experience with Daikin or Mitsubishi Electric equipment is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and install HVAC systems (split, ducted, VRV/VRF).
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to HVAC systems.
• Complete preventative maintenance in accordance with standards.
• Respond to reactive and emergency breakdown service calls.
• Maintain records of work using Simpro and communicate with clients.
