Job summary

Benmax in Canberra is seeking a qualified HVAC Technician & Refrigeration Mechanic to join our growing ACT team. You’ll work on a variety of commercial HVAC systems across the ACT region, delivering reliable service and maintenance to a high standard.

We support ongoing training, a safety‑driven culture, and a strong team that looks out for one another. The role offers full‑time hours, regular overtime, and clear progression opportunities with the company.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification: Cert III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration.
• Experience in service/maintenance for HVAC.
• Licences: ARCtick, White Card, Silica & Asbestos Awareness, and a valid driver’s licence.
• Strong fault finding, customer service, and time management skills.
• Permanent Australian work rights.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service and maintain HVAC systems in commercial buildings.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults efficiently and professionally.
• Complete documentation and job reporting to a high standard.

About The Role

You’ll be working on a variety of commercial HVAC systems across ACT and surrounds. Whether you’re on a solo job or working alongside a teammate, you’ll be supported by a crew that knows their stuff and looks out for each other.

What You\'ll Need
