Job summary

APAC FM Recruitment is seeking 2 experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technicians for a dedicated CBD Melbourne portfolio. You’ll focus on service, maintenance and fault-finding of HVAC systems in premium high-rise buildings with minimal daily travel.

You will work across a consistent Melbourne CBD portfolio, gaining in-depth knowledge of the buildings and clients, while enjoying an hourly rate and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration is essential.
• Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence required.
• Restricted Electrical Licence required.
• Commercial HVAC service & maintenance experience is essential.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Professional, customer-focused attitude.
• Willingness to complete a Police Check and pre-employment medical if required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance, fault-finding and repairs across a portfolio of commercial high-rise buildings in Melbourne CBD.
• Work across a consistent CBD portfolio to know the buildings, equipment and clients.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdowns.
• Diagnose faults and repair HVAC systems including VRV/VRF, AHUs, FCUs, pumps and associated plant.
• Complete routine inspections and identify potential faults before failures.
• Recommend repairs, upgrades and replacement works.
• Liaise with supervisors, coordinators and building management.
• Maintain accurate service reports and compliance documentation.
• Build strong relationships with clients across the portfolio.

We’re looking for 2x experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technicians to join a national industry leader, working across a dedicated portfolio of premium commercial high-rise buildings in Melbourne CBD.

Forget driving from one side of Melbourne to the other every day. This role offers minimal travel between a small portfolio of CBD sites, giving you more time on the tools and less time stuck behind the wheel.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault-finding and repairs across a dedicated portfolio of commercial high-rise buildings in Melbourne CBD.

Rather than constantly travelling across Melbourne to different jobs, you’ll work across consistent CBD portfolio sites, getting to know the buildings, equipment and clients you work with.

Day-to-day you'll:

• Complete planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdowns
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs across commercial HVAC systems
• Work on VRV/VRF systems, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, package units, splits and associated mechanical plant
• Complete routine inspections and identify potential faults before failures
• Recommend repairs, upgrades and replacement works
• Liaise with supervisors, coordinators and building management
• Maintain accurate service reports and compliance documentation
• Build strong relationships with clients across your portfolio

What We’re Looking For

• Cert III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
