Job summary

Australian Chillers & HVAC Solutions is seeking a skilled HVAC technician for a full-time, onsite role in Melbourne, VIC. You will service, maintain and repair a broad range of commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment across varied sites, aligning with our values and working alongside an experienced team on technically challenging projects.

You will perform preventative and reactive maintenance, fault finding and repairs on chillers, VRF/VRV, split systems and related plant, plus

Qualifications

• Must hold Restricted Electrical Licence (or equivalent) and Victorian Plumbing Registration.
• Must have Working with Children’s Check and National Police Check.
• Current Victorian Driver’s Licence with ability to drive a manual vehicle.
• Excellent communication and a professional attitude.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Strong troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills for HVAC and chillers.
• Knowledge/experience in plumbing and electrical works.
• Competency in EPA standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Preventative and reactive maintenance of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs on chillers, VRF/VRV, package units and associated plant.
• Commissioning and equipment upgrades.
• Complete service reports using electronic systems (AroFlo, Outlook, MS Office).
• Maintain strong client relationships through professional communication and quality workmanship.
• Maintain safe work practices in line with procedures and standards.

Education

Restricted Electrical Licence (or equivalent) & Victorian Plumbing Registration

Current Victorian Drivers Licence (manual capability)

Australian Chillers & HVAC Solutions – Melbourne VIC

A full time, onsite position you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault finding and repairing a broad range of HVAC and refrigeration equipment across a variety of commercial, institutional and manufacturing sites. In this role we value candidates that can think independently to streamline internal processes and can align with our core organisational values. This is an opportunity to work alongside highly experienced HVAC technicians, and multiple other trades employed within the organisation, on technically challenging projects, with genuine opportunities for ongoing development on cutting edge equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Preventative and reactive maintenance of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs on chillers, package units, VRF/VRV systems, split systems and associated mechanical plant.
• Commissioning and equipment upgrades
• Completion of service reports using electronic job management systems (AroFlo, Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite)
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients through professional communication and quality workmanship
• Working safely while complying with company procedures and industry standards

About you
