Job summary

New Venture Recruitment seeks an experienced HVAC Technician to service a mobile role across Melbourne. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose faults, and repair HVAC equipment across retail, petroleum, and commercial sites. A company vehicle is provided and overtime is paid.

The ideal candidate holds a Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, a current ARCtick licence and a Victorian driver’s licence, with strong communication and independence on site.

Qualifications

• HVAC service and fault-finding experience in commercial, retail or facilities maintenance.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Experience across petroleum or fuel environments is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and scheduled HVAC maintenance.
• Handle reactive service and breakdowns.
• Conduct fault finding and diagnostics on HVAC equipment.
• Repair air conditioning and refrigeration equipment as needed.
• Carry out minor replacement and upgrade works.
• Work across a mix of retail, petroleum and commercial sites.

Looking for a service role where you're not visiting the same type of site every day?

We're working with a large national facilities maintenance business that is expanding its HVAC team across Melbourne.

With a strong portfolio across retail, petroleum, fuel & convenience and commercial sites, they're looking for experienced HVAC Technicians to join the team.

There are opportunities across Melbourne and the South-East , with some flexibility depending on where you're based.

The Role

You'll be responsible for:

• Preventative and scheduled HVAC maintenance
• Reactive service and breakdowns
• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Repairs across air conditioning and refrigeration equipment
• Minor replacement and upgrade works
• Working across a mix of retail, petroleum and commercial sites

This is a mobile service role offering plenty of variety and the backing of an established national business.

What We're Looking For

Ideally you'll have:
