Job summary

Clough Ltd. is seeking an HVAC Supervisor within the Commissioning scope to join our site-based team on the CERES urea project near Karratha, WA.

You will oversee HVAC commissioning activities, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with project managers, engineers and trades to meet schedules. The role operates on a 19:9 site rotation, requires proven supervision of HVAC installation/commissioning on greenfield and brownfield projects, and hands-on leadership in fault rectification, testing,

This role is on a 19:9 rotation to our Perdaman project in Karratha, WA.

Clough, as part of a Joint Venture with Saipem, is delivering the Project ‘CERES’ urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.

We are currently searching for HVAC Supervisor within the Commissioning scope to join our site-based team on Project Ceres. Reporting to the Construction Manager, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing activities on site, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards. You will work closely with project managers, engineers and labour teams to ensure compliance with project requirements and timeline.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all HVAC commissioning activities are carried out in strict compliance with Company and Client current HSE rules
• Plan and execute HVAC commissioning operations, including pre-commissioning checks, functional testing and system fault rectification
• Coordinate all Contractor personnel for the smooth execution of HVAC commissioning activities
• Anticipate, plan and request the logistical means necessary for smooth HVAC commissioning operations, considering the various constraints when planning and carrying out activities.
• Take part of site coordination meetings.
• Ensure the preparation of commissioning reports and test records for submission to Company.
• Ensure the availability and movement of materials, consumables and spare parts according to the requirements of commissioning operations.
• Check and validate all commissioning test packs and technical records, ensuring completion status is comprehensively recorded in the completions/commissioning management system.
• Supervise and lead all HVAC commissioning and operating procedures.
• Lead team, organising own schedules/rotations and evaluating trades.
• Keep an up-to-date list of outstanding works and punch-list items that cannot be completed except during specific system availability or shutdown windows.

Key Requirements

• Ability to work on a 19:9 rotation to site (Karratha)
• Proven experience supervising HVAC installation and/or commissioning works
• Experience working on greenfield & brownfield projects
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of required maintenance management software (SAP, MAXIMO, AMOS, Data Stream etc)
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems (AHUs, chillers, ductwork, controls/BMS), safety protocols, and industry standards
• Knowledge of completions/commissioning management systems (e.g. GoTechnology, WinPCS, Primavera etc)
• Knowledge and application of HVAC testing, air balancing, commissioning procedures and system handover requirements
• Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively under pressure
• A proactive attitude with excellent organizational skills. 10+ years' experience in a Supervisory role
