Daikin Australia seeks a Project Engineer specializing in AHU and custom HVAC equipment to join its local manufacturing operations. You will create detailed drawings, 3D models, and cost estimates to support sales and tenders, while ensuring production-ready documentation and cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires 3–5 years in HVAC project or design engineering, strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Revit), and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) with 3–5 years in project/design engineering in HVAC.
• Accreditation (e.g., CPEng, MIEAust) is advantageous.
• Experience with CAD and HVAC principles across projects.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, and cost estimates for custom HVAC products.
• Develop manufacturing drawings and production instructions for tenders.
• Specify materials and equipment aligned with project scope and standards.
• Provide hands-on technical support to production teams during assembly and fabrication.
• Maintain documentation, schedules, and progress reports with cross-functional teams.
