Job summary

Talon Recruitment Solutions is recruiting an experienced HVAC Mechanical Draftsperson in Sydney to support a tier-one contractor on commercial mechanical services projects from design development through to delivery.

Reporting to a Drafting Manager, you will work in a collaborative team, develop Revit models, produce duct and pipework drawings, and contribute to clash detection and coordination to ensure project success. This role offers strong training and clear progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience drafting HVAC mechanical services projects using Revit.
• Experience producing detailed workshop drawings for ductwork and pipework layouts in Revit.
• Strong understanding of plant room design and coordination.
• Experience undertaking clash detection and resolving coordination issues.

Responsibilities

• Design development through to delivery on commercial mechanical projects.
• Collaborate with drafting and project teams to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Coordinate with consultants to resolve clashes and optimize layouts.
