Ignite seeks a Mechanical Engineer - HVAC to join its engineering team in Australia. You will take DOAS, dehumidification and energy recovery equipment from design through commissioning, improving indoor air quality and reducing building energy use.

The role offers permanent, full-time work in a growing HVAC manufacturing environment with real involvement in R&D and new product development, supporting consultants, contractors and clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Experience in HVAC, mechanical services or air conditioning
• Strong knowledge of psychrometrics, ventilation, refrigeration and heat recovery
• Proven engineering calculations and equipment selection skills
• Knowledge of Australian Standards and NCC requirements

Responsabilités

• Design DOAS, AHUs, energy recovery and dehumidification equipment
• Perform airflow, psychrometric, heat load and refrigeration calculations
• Prepare specifications, drawings, documentation and product selections
• Support testing, validation and performance optimisation
• Partner with production and commissioning teams on product delivery
• Provide technical support to consulting engineers, contractors and clients
