Job summary

Enemix is assisting with the recruitment of a Construction Manager to lead HV and renewable energy projects in Australia. The role focuses on on-site execution of large-scale infrastructure, ensuring safety, quality, and alignment with schedule and budget across solar, BESS, substations, and network-connected works.

The ideal candidate brings proven experience in HV/renewable energy construction, strong leadership, and familiarity with Australian standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing construction on large-scale HV, renewable energy, or major electrical infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of HV transmission and distribution works, grid connections, and testing/commissioning processes.
• Experience in EPC, client-side, consultancy, or contractor environments on complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
• In-depth knowledge of Australian electrical standards, construction practices, and safety requirements.
• Strong site leadership, interface management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to balance technical detail with commercial and program awareness.
• Practical, calm, and solutions-focused in high-pressure project environments.
• Collaborative and approachable, with the confidence to lead without ego.
• Comfortable working across disciplines and contributing beyond traditional role boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor safety, quality, and progress.

• Support testing, commissioning, and energisation activities to ensure seamless project handover.
