Job summary

Hitachi Energy Australia is seeking a Project Engineer focusing on High Voltage disciplines, to lead engineering development and deliverables for complex projects. You will coordinate across disciplines, interact with customers and suppliers, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires aBachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years in High Voltage or renewables, CPENG/RPEQ eligibility, and strong MS Word/Excel skills in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years experience in High Voltage Utility/Renewables sector or similar.
• Registered or eligible for CPENG and RPEQ.
• Proficient in English communication.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments and prepare project documentation within scope.
• Assist in preparing proposals/presentations of engineering projects, including bills of materials and estimated engineering hours.
• Support Contract Managers in issuing claims and ensure delivery within budget and contract while meeting safety standards.
