Job summary

Liebherr-Australia is seeking a permanent residential Field Service Technician based on site at Boggabri Coal in the Gunnedah Region of NSW. This on-site role is ideal for candidates living locally in the region and offers long-term career stability with a global OEM.

Key duties include diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults on site machines, performing major and minor services, conducting health assessments, and maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified as Diesel/Mobile Plant Mechanic with relevant certifications.
• Demonstrated diagnostics and fault-finding knowledge.
• Experience with heavy Liebherr earthmoving equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on site machines.
• Carry out major and minor services as directed.
• Perform maintenance and component replacements on site equipment.
• Complete machine health assessments and reporting.
• Accurately complete timesheets and site documentation.

We are seeking a permanent residential Field Service Technician to join our team based on site at Boggabri Coal, in the Gunnedah Region of NSW.

We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Field Service Technician to join our team based on site at Boggabri Coal, in the Gunnedah Region of NSW. This is a residential role, ideally suited to candidates living locally in the region.

• Start/Finish:Log-on point at Boggabri Coal

Key Responsibilities

Electrical/ Mechanical diagnosis and repairing of faults on all site machines (Mechanical and Hydraulic fault finding also required).

Carry out all required major and minor services to site machines as directed.

Carry out maintenance and component replacements in all areas relative to site responsibilities.

Complete machine health assessments and appropriate reporting

Accurate completion of documentation including timesheets, maintenance requests and any site-specific documentation required.

About You

Trade qualified as Diesel / Mobile Plant Mechanic, holding any of the following:

• Certificate III Mobile Plant Technology
• Certificate III Automotive Electrical Technology

Demonstrated diagnostics and fault-finding knowledge.

Motivation and excellent communication skills.

Previous experience in a similar role working with heavy machinery (R9300, R9400 & R9800 Liebherr Excavators).
