Job summary

Anglo American is hiring a HV Electrician for their Dawson Mine in Moura, QLD. This permanent role in the Maintenance team involves ensuring the reliability of mining equipment through effective electrical maintenance and adherence to safety standards.

The successful candidate will perform preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and necessary repairs on heavy equipment, contributing to optimized production targets. Previous experience and a valid QLD Electrical License are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous Electrical Maintenance experience in Mining or Heavy Industrial industries.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on heavy mobile equipment.
• Knowledge of procedures for maintenance tasks and site safety management.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and servicing of heavy mobile equipment.
• Diagnose faults and effect repairs on electrical equipment and field devices.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements during electrical activities.
