Job summary

GenusPlus Group is seeking an experienced Distribution Construction Manager – OHL to lead the Solomon West 33kV Distribution Network delivery. The role focuses on overhead line construction, site leadership, and delivering high-quality infrastructure for Australia’s energy transition in a remote mining environment.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Electrical, Powerline, Utilities, Construction or related discipline.
• Supervisory/frontline leadership qualifications.
• Experience managing overhead powerline, utility, electrical infrastructure, or major construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe delivery of overhead distribution line construction activities and manage site construction teams.
• Coordinate supervisors, subcontractors, engineers, and field personnel to ensure safety, schedule, and budget.
• Monitor project performance, quality outcomes, productivity, and compliance with client, regulatory, and company requirements.
• Drive a strong safety culture through leadership, risk management, inspections, mentoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
