Randstad Australia is partnering with an upper-tier civil contractor to deliver a flagship high-voltage energy transmission package in the Gippsland/Traralgon region. This site-based role offers a lucrative salary up to AU$300k plus super.

We are seeking a Construction Manager to lead the package from civil earthworks through structural concrete, building construction, and commercial handover. Based near Traralgon, you will interface with HV partners, manage procurement, and drive safety and

Qualifications

Experience leading major civil/structural packages valued at $500m+.
Hands-on expertise in heavy structural concrete and industrial buildings.
Experience delivering interface-heavy energy or power infrastructure projects.
Strong commercial acumen with P&L accountability.

Responsibilities

Lead package execution across earthworks, foundations, structural concrete, and buildings.
Interface daily with HV partners, installers, and grid teams for handovers.
Direct procurement strategies for long-lead items and trades.
Lead subcontractor negotiations, scope splits, and risk allocation to protect budgets.
Manage master schedules, budgets, and resources to meet milestones.
Liaise with client reps, site superintendents, TNSPs, and authorities.
Enforce site safety, environmental standards and QA for HV construction.
Drive commercial performance, claims, variations, and monthly P&L.
