Diocese of Lismore Catholic Schools in Lismore, NSW is seeking an HR Assistant to support Principals and school staff with HR processes, using PageUp software, and to assist with end-to-end recruitment for teaching and non-teaching staff.

The role operates within a hybrid work model, offering a 7-hour day and 35-hour week, with a focus on delivering services that support student outcomes and staff development. The position is full-time and temporary until November 2027 to cover parental leave.

Overview of Role:

The HR Assistant provides support and advice to Principals, Assistant Principals and school staff in the Clarence Region on the PageUp Human Resources software and assists with the end-to-end Human Resources and recruitment process for teacher, coordinator, non-teaching and casual employee positions. The Human Resources Assistant will also work closely with the Manager, Human Resources and the Human Resources Business Partner in supporting schools in determining appropriate school staff solutions.

This role supports the underlying Mission of Catholic Education in the Diocese of Lismore by delivering services that contribute to enabling students to achieve the fullness of life.
