Job summary

Rumbalara Aboriginal Co-operative seeks a Hub Practitioner for The Orange Door in Victoria. You’ll screen, assess, triage and respond to referrals with culturally safe, trauma-informed support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people seeking safety.

You will work across disciplines, provide secondary consultations, strengthen cultural safety, and build partnerships with Aboriginal services to support community choice.

Qualifications

• Aboriginal family violence knowledge and understanding of law and legal system.
• Experience in culturally safe, integrated service delivery across disciplines.
• Collaborative approach to strengthening cultural safety and practice culture.
• Ability to engage children and young people with trauma-related behaviours.
• Practical problem-solving with commitment to policies and continuous improvement.
• Open to feedback and managing emotional reactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide screening, assessment, triage and short-term responses to referrals.
