Job summary

St Agnes Catholic High School, rooted in Catholic educational values, seeks an HSIE Teacher to deliver Business Studies and VET Business Services for Years 7–12. This permanent full-time role starts January 2027, at Rooty Hill NSW, with modern facilities and opportunities for professional growth.

The successful candidate will teach Business Studies, support vocational learning, and maintain VET documentation while upholding high standards of assessment and student welfare in a collaborative

Qualifications

• Hold recognised tertiary qualifications in Secondary Education.
• Hold current NESA accreditation or be eligible to obtain accreditation.
• Have qualifications and experience in Business Studies and relevant HSIE subjects.
• Hold the required VET trainer and assessor credentials to deliver Business Services, or be willing to obtain them.
• Demonstrate relevant vocational knowledge and industry currency.
• Hold a valid Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Business Studies, Business Services and broader HSIE learning experiences.
• Use contemporary and evidence-informed teaching practices to improve student outcomes.
• Develop students' knowledge, practical skills and confidence.
• Maintain the required assessment, documentation and compliance standards for VET delivery.
• Create a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and build positive relationships with students and families.
